- Proper feeding: To ensure that the ores are evenly distributed along the inlet of the feeder and filled the crushing chamber, which can make the jaw wear evenly and reduce operating costs.
- Ensure sufficient feeding ore volume: According to the needs of the production requested, adjust the amplitude to control the feeder’s production rate to realize stepless adjustment.
- Preventing iron from entering the crushing chamber: Iron may damage the jaw plate and other parts, so it is necessary to prevent iron from entering the crushing chamber.
- Setting reasonable size of discharge opening: the setting of discharge opening should adjust the distance between two jaw plates at the lower end of the crushing chamber to ensure that the size of discharge opening should be set in a reasonable range on the basis of ensuring the processing capacity of raw ore.
- Choosing suitable materials: To choose soft rather than hard ores, dry rather than wet materials, ores with high specific gravity, and ores with well-developed deconstruction, all of which can improve the crushing efficiency.
- Adjusting the jaw plates: Check the wear state of jaw plates regularly, and invert, interchange or replace the worn jaw plates in time to maintain the high efficient crushing capacity.
- Optimizing the feeding method: Ensure the feeding is moderate, avoid over or under feeding, and control the raw material particle size within a reasonable range to prevent clogging.
- Maintaining the jaw crusher: Regularly to check and tighten all the fixed bolts, screws and other fasteners, adjust the position of the flywheel, check and replace the worn parts, adjust the bearing clearance, install vibration-damping materials and so on, in order to reduce the vibration and improve the stability of the equipment.
Through the above measures, you can effectively improve the working efficiency of the jaw crusher, reduce the failure rate and ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
